On the horizon a distant rider appears
His absolution at the heart of all man’s fears
Your destiny will take you there
To meet his hollow empty stare in despair
The second rider commences to slowly remove all your strength
You live in a land strewn with rocks dust and sand there’s no sustenance there
Dust floats up through the air, you are damned!
Hunger sickness and death are all that remains in his wake.
A victim of fate with no choice but to wait for relief that won't come you'll be seared by the sun
It’s too late, to find peace in your troubled and desperate mind.
Though you have the will, you have not the time.
The third of four to arrive will turn your heart black with fear at the thought of living in pain
No cure no hope in the world to survive.
The rot the decay the disgust that they feel inside is a curse unsurpassed the burns in your mind
Burning deep, to the core of all you hold true.
Light crashing through the darkness erupting from the shadows in a screaming blaze
His red steed bears down upon them, a horsemen feared by all who've seen him
Rendering massive destruction the rider watches with a grin
The last man falls his will undaunted
Now the rider begins to laugh HA HA HA !
He’s coming here, he’s going there
To threaten all, life, limb and land
As he reaches out to take you by the hand
Don’t go!
Hold on, as long as you can
As he leaves the horizon
A new life unchanged looks on

Ah where to start with this! Late to the party when I stumbled across it in a record shop and was talked into buying the "metal record" by a cousin.
Almost single-handedly rekindled my flickering love of NWOBHM, led me down the rabbit hole past the "name" artists and honestly has affected my listening habits to this day.
Cannot recommend this and its (at time of writing) three siblings enough. Waiting with bated breath and crossed fingers for more! goatcrust
Unabashedly and almost cheerfully Epic, this Old School Metal offering is guaranteed to warm your heart of steel. If you like Slough Feg or The Sword, you should definitely check this one out. Grendel's Sÿster
